The Agricultural and Nutrition Technology Ontology (ANT) was developed by the CGIAR to
make it easier for organizations to access information on tested technologies that can improve
smallholder livelihoods and food security. Currently, ANT covers all areas in which the CGIAR is
conducting research and training activities (linking to existing ontologies, such as Crop
Ontology, whenever feasible). ANT provides definitions, context, and semantic relationships
between terms in a reusable, machine-readable format.
